Little Doc, what I have always called him was very close to me. He and I worked one evening for hours upon hours to save a horse in another county. Little Doc was a very compassionate and considerate man and I will personally miss him immensely!!

Dr. Payne,

We wanted you to know that we are so very sorry for the loss of your son. He treated my Pom in Dec.,2010; he was very thorough in trying to explain her tests and x rays to us.

We appreciate everything you have done for us over the years. We cannot imagine what you and your daughter are going through and wish there were words to help.

Dr. Payne and Family,

So sorry for your loss. Bill was like a brother to me. We grew up together went to church and school together and shared the same birthday. Makes me really sad I can not be there. RIP Lil Dr. Bill and may God always watch over you. We will always be brothers.

I will never forget the day you helped me with my dog after going thru what you had just minutes before gone thru, that truly showed your compassion for animals, and their owners. I will never forget your compassion that day.May you rest in peace!

I was saddened to hear of Dr. Bill's passing away. He was a compassionate vet and was so caring with both the animals he treated and their owners. I will never forget how he went out of his way one Sunday afternoon to take care of my cat that had been hit by a car. I don't know of very many vets that would have done that. I will forever be grateful for what he did that day. My thoughts and prayers go out to his Dad and Sister.
