Adeline Boone Edrington, 94 passed from this earth into eternity on Saturday, February 5, 2011. Born in Pine Knob, KY to the late Joy E. Boone and Ora Kebbell Boone, Adeline and her late husband, Johnny Edrington maintained residences in both Grayson and Jefferson County, KY.

Adeline, a 62 year Eastern Star member, was a devoted teacher for over 30 years beginning in Grayson County and retiring from Jefferson County in 1971. She and her husband became avid antique collectors and enjoyed traveling around the state meeting people and "swapping" stories. Adeline was a true outdoor person enjoying gardening, fishing and hunting on her Grayson County farm in later years. She will be missed by all her family and friends.

She is survived by her four children, J.J. (Sonny) Edrington (Junelle) of Fairdale, Kentucky, Bob Edrington of Caneyville, Kentucky, Linda Jewell (Greg) of Louisville and Greg Edrington (CJ) of Nashville, TN, 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great Grandchild. She is also survived by nephew, Honus Shain, Jr. and a niece, Jean Carwile of Pine Knob, KY.

Funeral services will be held at Caneyville Christian Church on Sunday, February 13, at 1:00 p.m. with burial in Deweese Cemetery, with Bro. David Brown officiating.

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 12, from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There will be an Eastern Star service at the funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. Saturday.
