Aileen Logsdon Stewart, age 91, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away peacefully at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center on December 1, 2008.

Aileen was born on March 22, 1917, in the Wortham community of Grayson County KY, the daughter of Lawrence and Lula Mae West Logsdon. She was a homemaker who loved tending her garden and flowers and cooking wonderful meals for her family. She was a member of Potter's Hope Ministries and was married to Kenneth C. Stewart.

She is survived by daughters, Betty Lou Ash and Mary Sue (David) Norris, seven grandchildren, Steven Watson, David (Terrilea) Watson, Mary Sue (Bryan) Cooper, Jill (Rick) Clemons, Susie (Tom) Bolton, Kelly (Rick) Basham, and David (Lorie) Norris, fourteen great-grandchildren, eight step great-grandchildren, two great-great grandsons and one sister, Mary Alice Decker of Versailles, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, one sister, and a great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield at 1:00 p.m. Thursday (December 4, 2008). Bros. Wayne Clemons and David L. Norris will be officiating. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
