Obituary
Albert James Clemons, age 76, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (May 28, 2011) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center here in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on September 26, 1934, in Wax, KY, the son of the late Jessie Leo and Ida Ellen Lush Clemons. He was retired from Diamond International, and a member of St Benedict Catholic Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Yvonne Hayes and Mary Kay Sandlin both of Ok, his Fiancé' Jenrose Stevenson of Leitchfield, six sisters, Rudell Higdon of Clarkson, Leona Drake of Shelbyville, Angie Wright, Rosetta Powers, Viena Greenwell and JoAnn Sutton all of Louisville, three brothers, Richard Clemons of Louisville, Samie Clemons of Caneyville and Paul Clemons of Greenwood, IN, two grandchildren, Brian and Krista Hodges both of Leitchfield. His Wife, Janet Sullivan Clemons, his parents, one granddaughter, Kayla Sue Hayes, one brother, Leo Clemons and one sister, Irene Spalding
Preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday (May 30, 2011) at the St. Benedict Catholic Church in Wax. Rev. Brian Johnson will be officiating. Burial will be in the St Benedict Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday (May 29, 2011)
Prayer service at 6:00 p.m. (May 29, 2011) at the funeral home.
