Alberta Embry, age 87, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (January 13, 2013) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.

She was born on January 26, 1925 in Marion County, KY, the daughter of the late Harry and Oda Sisson Roberts.

She was a retired machine operator at Brown and Williamson and was a member of the First General Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Delores Embry, of Louisville, KY, 2 grandchildren, Lisa Flaherty (Randy) of Louisville, KY and Darrell Embry of Leitchfield, KY and his girlfriend Kim "Littlebit" and 2 great grandchildren, Morgan and Ryan Flaherty of Louisville, KY.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Embry, her son, David Embry, and 2 sisters, Martha Clemons and Elizabeth Esch.

Funeral services will be at Noon on Wednesday, (January 16, 2013) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Rudd Kerr will be officiating. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 10:30 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
