Obituary
Alfred Ray Hunt, age 78, of Beaver Dam, KY, passed away Sunday (June 20, 2010) at Dogwood Retreat Care Facility.
He was born on August 2,1931, the son of Byrd & Claudie Smith Hunt. He was a member of the Pathway Missionary Baptist Church, US Army Veteran and a retired Mill Operator for Alcan.
He is survived by his wife Roberta (Robin) Hunt, Beaver Dam, 2 sons Richard Wayne (Jill) Hunt of Beaver Dam & Anthony Higgs of Shrewsbury, 4 daughters Treva (Bobby) Rogers of Beaver Dam, Sandra (Brian) Cardwell of Baizetown, Margie (Curtis) Wells of Shrewsbury & Sherrie (Mike) Geary of Caneyville, 2 sisters Goldie Ludwick of Louisville & Rosie White of New Albany, IN., 26 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and a host of nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by 1 daughter Barbara Johnson, 1 brother Tilford Hunt & 1 sister Nola Graves.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday (June 22, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville with Bro. Harold Craven & Bro. David Daugherty officiating. Interment will be in the Belmont Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 2:00 until 9:00 P.M. Monday & after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday.
