Alice F. Givens , age 77, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (April 5, 2020) of natural causes at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.

She was born October 22, 1942, in Caneyville, KY, the daughter of the late Corbett and Ada (Ingram) Givens.

Alice was a CNA/CMA in the medical field for many years, as well as a hairdresser, bookkeeper, and co-owner of several different businesses/property development ventures. She enjoyed sewing, painting, traveling and reading as well as spending time with her family. She was of Baptist faith.

She is survived by her children: Cynthia F. Embry (Phil), of Atlanta, GA. Carrie W. Embry, Ann Brooks (Jeff), Adam Turner, all of Grayson County, KY.

Grandsons: Daniel Brooks (Shawna), Brandon Brooks (Aleesha) and James Embry, of Leitchfield, KY.

Two sisters: Carole Wilson of Louisville, KY and Rita Givens of Atlanta, GA. Special Niece Jackie Engle (Bill) and several beloved nieces and nephews survive as well as friends and cousins.

The joy of her heart was her Great-Grandchildren: Peyton Brooks, Kendyl Brooks, Kaymein Brooks and Connor Brooks who she always had a stick of gum for and hugs from "old mamaw".

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by siblings: Bernard Givens, Joe Givens, Floyd Givens, Georgia (Givens) Coy, Naomi (Givens) Marples and Martha (Givens) Taylor and infant brothers James and Jaybus Givens.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cain Cemetery Fund at the Sacramento Deposit Bank.

Funeral services and burial will be private.
