Allie L. Brown, age 95, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (November 11, 2019) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on October 18, 1924 in Cub Run, KY, the daughter of the late George and Dollie Seward Jaggers.

She was a housewife of Baptist faith, who enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning, and loved to share vegetables from her garden.

She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Kane (Jimmie) of Leitchfield; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Brown, one son, James Edward Brown, three brothers, Melvin and Claddie Jaggers and Hershel Butler, and four sisters, Beatrice Adams, Elva Jean Mahan, Nola Sneed, and Deloris Dennis.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday (November 14, 2019) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jack Roberts will be officiating. A private burial will be held at South Fork Baptist Church cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Thursday until time of service.
