Alma Embry, age 98, of Big Clifty, KY, died Saturday, (March 06, 2021) at home. She was a homemaker who loved to garden, sew and cook. She was baptized in 1948 and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Born December 13, 1922, the daughter of Joshua and Brilla Renfrow Woosley.

Survivors include her children, Harold J. Embry of Indiana, Faye Bryant (Mac) of Big Clifty, and Steven Embry (Becky) of Lawrenceburg.

She is also survived by four grandchildren, Terri Crawford of Leitchfield, Melissa Peach of Lawrenceburg, Scotty Embry of Leitchfield and Tina Shain of Indiana. She had nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents, Joshua and Brilla Woosley, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-four years, Foster O. Embry, son, Royce Wayne Embry and grandson Timothy Embry.

Private family funeral services will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.  Wednesday.
