Alta Mae Duff, age 90, of Louisville, KY, passed away Saturday, (May 24, 2025) at Springview Nursing and Rehab in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on August 31, 1934 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Willie and Zeda Francis Spencer Sharp.

She retired from Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company after 38 years working in quality control. She enjoyed shopping, traveling and bowling. She was very appreciative of all her friends she had in the bowling leagues.

She is survived by a step-son, Donald Duff; her brother, Lindell Sharp and several nieces and nephews that she adored.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Donny Duff; two sister Gearline Lush and Patsy Priddy; and a brother, James Sharp.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, (June 02, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Old Lone Oak Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
