Alton "Kingfish" King, age 70, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (September 26, 2010) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.

He was born on January 18, 1940, in Grayson Co., KY, the son of the late Raymond and Natella McStoots King. He was a Grayson County 6th district constable and a former deputy sheriff.

He is survived by his wife, Lorene Decker King, three sons, Donnie (Melissa), Gary and Shawn King all of Leitchfield, two daughters, Debbie Sutherland (Randell) and Judy King both of Leitchfield, one brother, Albert King of Leitchfield, two sisters, Norma Jean Hayes and Mary Logsdon both of Leitchfield, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several step grand and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday (September 29, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Denvard Decker will be officiating. Burial will be in the Blowtown Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
