Alton "Al" Wilson, age 86, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (October 1, 2023) at Hildegard House Hospice in Louisville, KY.

He was born on July 17, 1937 in Butler Co., KY, the son of the late Tollie and Buna Embry Wilson.

He was a retired electrician who enjoyed vintage cars and singing gospel songs.

He is survived his sister, Lois Hudson (Brenis) of Millwood, KY and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a special friend and caregiver, Dr. Susan King of Elizabethtown and a friend, Ruth Lindsey.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Wilson, three sisters, Juanita Bratcher, Dietress Bea Mudd and Helen Taylor Chism, two nieces, Joan Hayes and Angela Hudson Young, and one nephew, Jimmie Bratcher.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, (October 5, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Steve Mahurin will be officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Union Cemetery in Butler Co.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
