Obituary
Ambrose Noel Higdon, age 69, of Leitchfield, KY passed away Tuesday, (February 13, 2007) at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.
He was born on August 31, 1937, in Grayson Co., KY, the son of Joseph Earl and Sarah Decker Higdon. He was retired from the City of Louisville, and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Juley Ellen Mercer Higdon, eight sons, Joseph Noel, James Ray, Charles Thomas, Jerry Wayne, Tommy Lee, Phillip Eugene, William Jr., and Raymond Nace Higdon all of Leitchfield, one brother, Junior Higdon of White Mills, KY, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon Saturday (February 17, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro Murrell Meredith will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday.
