Amy Nicole Parker, age 34 , of Lamar, Missouri, passed away Thursday, (December 17, 2020) at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

She was born on October 14, 1986 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of  Charles Higdon, Sr. and her late mother, Kathy Phelps Higdon.

She was a crew member of Taco Bell in Lamar, Missouri. She enjoyed couponing, fishing, gardening and shopping. She was a believer and had faith in God.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Parker, and her children, Rose, Patty, and Samantha Parker all of Lamar, Missouri;  father, Charles Higdon of Leitchfield; sister, Samantha Gordon (Bruce) of Leitchfield; brothers, Charles Higdon of Big Clifty and Charles Higdon, Jr of Leitchfield. Several nieces and nephews also survive

Other than her mother, Kathy Higdon, she was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ambrose Higdon, grandmother, Sue Phelps; uncle, James Ray Higdon; and several aunts, uncles, great-aunts and great-uncles.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, (December 21, 2020) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Rev. Jason McCray will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
