Angela Faye Kiper Cavaness, age 50, of Elizabethtown, KY, passed away Tuesday, (June 4, 2024) at U of L Health in Louisville, KY.

She was born on October 7, 1973, in Louisville, KY, the daughter of Betty Hayes Kiper and the late William Henry Kiper.

She was a lunch lady at West Hardin Middle School. Her school kids meant the world to her along with her fellow co-workers in the cafeteria. Outside of work she loved attending auctions and travelling to Gatlinburg. Angie loved her family and her fur baby, Red.

She is survived by her mother, Betty Kiper of Hardin County; brothers, Darrell, Jamie and Scott Kiper all of Hardin County; sister, Tammy Bischoff(Jimmy) of Shepherdsville; nieces and nephews, Kelly, Sherry, Harley, Dusty, Austin, Candy and Star; and her great nieces and nephews, Serenity, Kaden, and Skye.

Other than her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Cavaness and a niece, Samantha Bischoff.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, (June 11, 2024) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Rodney Alexander will be officiating. Burial will be in the Caneyville Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
