Obituary
Anita Sue Melchior, age 76, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (July 7, 2016) at Norton's Hospital in Louisville.
She was born on June 17, 1940, in Hardinsburg, IN, the daughter of the late Leonard and Gayle Jones Ponder.
She was employed as legal secretary, and enjoyed BINGO, reading, and listening to gospel music. She attended the Church of God of Prophecy.
She is survived by her brother, Dennis Ponder and his wife, Lynn, of Falls of Rough; nephew, Jacob Young and his wife, Erin, of Louisville; niece, Kati Woeltz and her husband, Chad, of Paducah; and great-nephew, Rhett Young.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Melchior, and sister, Janice Taylor.
Funeral services will be at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, (July 9, 2016) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Billy Mason will be officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. on Saturday until time of service.
