Anna Hardin Critchelow, age 94, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (January 14, 2025) at Grayson Manor Nursing and Rehab in Leitchfield.

She was born on March 8, 1930 in Harned, KY, the daughter of the late Hardin and Genevieve Kennedy Alexander.

She worked in sporting goods retail sales at Tom and Al's Place in Breckinridge County. Anna enjoyed quilting. She loved to go to the Lincoln Jamboree with her husband, Thomas, whom she married in October, 1951. She also loved family gatherings and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She was faithful in going to church as long as her health would allow; and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Leitchfield.

Anna is survived by her son and his wife, Lane and Libby Critchelow; three grandchildren, Lauren Chaffins (Norman), Bethany Critchelow, and Aaron Critchelow (Nancy); great-grandchildren, Xander Critchelow, Greyson Chaffins, Kynli Critchelow, Syndi Plush (Ricky), Alli Lustek (Travis), and Kaleb Chaffins; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Critchelow; two sons, Jonathan and Jeff Critchelow; a daughter, Vicky Critchelow; and a sister, Mary Evelyn Dowell.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, (January 21, 2025) at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Leitchfield. Father Suneesh will be officiating with the assistance of Deacon Dale DePoyster. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Catholic Church Cemetery in Axtel, KY.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time to leave for the church for the Mass of Christian Burial.

Prayer Service will be held on Monday night at 6:00 p.m.
