Anna "Kathy" Williams Grant, age 68, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Tuesday, (October 31, 2023) at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

She was born on December 2, 1954 in Leitchfield, KY, the daughter of Jessie and Lorene Skaggs Williams.

She retired from Clarkson Elementary School where she worked as a Lunch Lady for 26 years. She loved being a grandmother to her grandchildren and enjoyed growing, planting, and arranging flowers. She was a member of the Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her spouse of 50 years, Richard Grant of Clarkson; son, Jody Grant (Kira Beres) of Leitchfield; grandchildren, Colton, Joel, and Leah; mother, Lorene Skaggs Williams of Clarkson; two brothers, Jimmy Williams (Linda) and Steve Williams (Linda) both of Leitchfield; one sister, Vickie Williams of Clarkson. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her father; one son, Ryan Grant and a sister, Brenda Robinson.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, (November 7, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Curtis Decker and Bro. Joey Brooks will be officiating. Burial will be in the Little Flock Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
