Obituary
Anna Marie Smith, age 49, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (October 1, 2009) at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.
She was born on August 8, 1960, in Jefferson County, KY, the daughter of Earnest Johnson Sr. and Anna Mae Tomes.
She was a member of the Sunny Point General Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Jeremy Smith and his wife Jennifer and Christopher Smith both of Caneyville, KY; her mother, Anna Mae Tomes of Huff, KY; her step-mother, Pauline Johnson of Leitchfield, three brothers, Earnest Johnson, Jr. of Huff, Jimmie Johnson of Louisville, KY and Rex Johnson of Leitchfield; three sisters, Mary Kaufman of Indiana, Fongie Legawiec of Leitchfield and Juanita Skees of Huff; one granddaughter, Josey Smith. She was preceded in death by her father, Earnest Johnson, Sr.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. (October 4, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Wilbur Oller will be officiating. Burial will be in the South Union Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of service.
