Anna Mary Snell, age 86 of Caneyville Ky. passed away Sunday May 22, 2011 at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.
She was born on January 7, 1925, the daughter of Ulys Granville & Sophia Ellen Raley. She was a homemaker & housewife.
She was a Christian woman who lived her life for the Lord and her family. She was a wonderful mother to many children other than her own. No one left her home hungry or without her warm smile and kindess.
She is survived by 2 daughters Vickie Martin of Elizabethtown & Dale Winterman of Indiana, 3 sons Jerry Snell of Welchs Creek, Darrell & Harrell Snell both of Caneyville, 9 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren, 1 brother Burl Morris of Horse Branch & 1 sister Mabry Embry of Louisville. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Snell, 2 sons Mark & Mike Snell, 1 daughter Judy Ann Snell, 2 grandchildren Amanda Snell Milliner & Gerald "Ken" Snell.
Funeral services will be Wednesday May 25, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville, Bro Wavie Pierce officiating with interment in the Kelly Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville, Tuesday 5:00-9:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Wednesday.
