Obituary
Anna Mae Tomes, age 82, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (March 8, 2012) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, Kentucky.
She was born on November 6, 1929, in Grayson Co., Kentucky, the daughter of the late Garland Stanley and Addie Mae Goins Tomes. She was a housewife.
She is survived by two sons, Bro. Ernest Johnson of Huff, KY and Jimmie Ray Johnson of Louisville, KY, three daughters, Mary Alice Kaufman of Indianapolis, IN, Fonchie Denise LeGawiec of Leitchfield, and Juanita Skees of Sunfish, KY, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Anna Marie Smith and three sisters.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday (March 12, 2012) at the Beech Grove United Baptist Church. Bro. Ernest Johnson will be officiating. Burial will be in the Beech Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday and at the church from 10:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
