Anna Lou Williams, age 76, of Bee Spring, KY, passed away Monday (September 26, 2011) at her residence.
She was born on April 9, 1935, in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Bryant and Luella Brooks Childress. She was a dietician supervisor at Meadows South Personal Care Home, and was a member of the Short Creek United Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Teddy and Terry
(Debbie) Williams both of Big Clifty, Lynn (Sue Ann) Williams of Leitchfield; one daughter, Kathy Schultz (Terry) of Edmonson County; two brothers, Jr. Childress of Leitchfield, and Floyd Childress of Big Clifty; four sisters, Mary Langdon and Maxine Bush both of Leitchfield, Wanda Bradley and Betty Baker both of Clarkson; ten grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Norman Joseph Williams, and two brothers, Lonnie and Pat Childress.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday (September 29, 2011) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Gary Woosley and Bro. Tommy Jackson will be officiating. Burial will be in the Short Creek Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of service.
