Obituary
Anna Lou Wohlscheid, age 80, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (March 9, 2016) at the Grayson Manor Nursing Home in Leitchfield, KY.
She was born on October 31, 1935 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Garfield and Bessie Hayes Poole.
She was a seamstress, who enjoyed working puzzles, playing bingo, cooking and was a member of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by one son, Curtis Smith (Brenda) of Leitchfield; four grandchildren, Diana Devole, Matthew Smith (Sarah), Jimmy Smith, Abby Smith, ; five great grandchildren, Logan and Breana Dennison,Kobee Martin all of Leitchfield Lexie Smith of Owensboro KY, and Jaleigh Martin of Brooks KY ; five sisters, Mary Kiper of Illinois, Virginia Vincent (Houston) of Concord KY, Frances McCombs, Alice Patterson and Edie Burnett (Paul), all of Leitchfield. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Smith; her second husband, Richard Wohlscheid; two brothers Henry and Jerry Poole; two sisters, Dorothy House and Ruie Wohlscheid.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, (March 13, 2016) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Mickey Coates will be officiating. Burial will be in the Taylor Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
