Anna D. Woosley, age 87, of Charlestown, IN, (formerly of Caneyville, KY) passed away Friday, (October 5, 2018) at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.

She was born on February 2, 1931 in Caneyville, KY, the daughter of the late Fred and Ella Wilson Woosley.

She was a surgical technician who enjoyed reading, camping, fishing, travelling, shopping, cooking, watching her hummingbirds in the feeders, visiting the casinos and gambling, and spying on her neighbors (family).

She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Minotti (Joe); three grandchildren, David Minotti, of Charlestown, IN, Carrie Minotti and Stephen Minotti, both of Louisville, KY; and six nieces, Mildred, Earlene, Carolyn, Linda, Frances and Aline.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her lifetime partner, Sammie Cooper; her brother, Ralph Woosley; and a nephew, Paul Woosley.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, (October 9, 2018) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. David Woosley will be officiating, with burial will be in the Chapel Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
