Obituary
Anna Aline Young, age 95, of Welchs Creek, KY, passed away Thursday, (May 21, 2009) at Morgantown Care and Rehab.
She was born on November 22, 1913, in Falls of Rough, KY, the daughter of the late Fonzy and Vinnie Salmon. She was married to the late Harrison (Pikey) Young. She was a housewife and a member of the Yeaman Church of Christ.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Lou Lee (Walkie) and Lottie Willoughby both of Welchs Creek, KY, one son, Ernest Young (Linda) of Hawesville, KY, two daughters-in-law, Lavoice and Joyce Young, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren, two brothers, Tommy and Granvil Salmon, four sisters, Mary, Flora, Eva and Hazel and several nieces and nephews. Other than her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Leonard, David and Harrison Young, a son-in-law, N.D. Willoughby, two brothers, three sisters, her step-mother, one grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. (May 23, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Daryl Glenn will be officiating. Burial will be in the Yeaman Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
