Obituary
Argo H. Minton, age 83, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Friday, (February 18, 2011) at his home.
He was born on July 19, 1927, in Grayson Co., KY, the son of Hardin and Calvernia Miller Minton. He was a retired school bus driver for the Grayson County School System and a member of the Smalls Grove Church.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl Alvey Minton, four daughters, Brenda Crawford (Mike) and Margo Collins (Wayne) both of Caneyville, Susan Kessinger (Kevin) and Gail Barbee (Eddie) both of Beaver Dam, KY, four grandchildren, Aaron Crawford, Jessica and Brittney Barbee and Amanda Kessinger and four great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Brenis, Christopher and Isabella. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. (February 21, 2011) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Randall Deweese will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of service.
