Arthur Lee Newton Jr, age 60, of Millwood, KY, passed away Tuesday, (November 24, 2009) in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on March 29, 1949, in Millwood, KY, the son of Arthur Lee and Juanita Crawford Newton Sr. He was a carpet layer.
He is survived by a son, Juney Lee Newton of Shepherdsville KY, two brothers, Larry R. of Shepherdsville and Richard A. Newton of Hudson, KY, two sisters, Connie J. Johnson of Leitchfield and Roxanne Vincent of Millwood, three grandchildren, Britney Kaye, Shai Leann and Payton Elizabeth Newton. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and sister, Donnie Lee and Elizabeth Ann Newton.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. (November 28, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of service.
