Athleen Fentress, age 84, of Hardinsburg, KY, passed away Sunday, (November 21, 2010) at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 24, 1926, in Breckinridge, KY, the daughter of the late Jess and Mary Ellen Mattingly Haycraft. She was a retired cook in the Grayson County school system for 22 years, and was a member of the Coyles Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by two sons, Roy Darrell Fentress and his wife Bonnie of Harned, KY, and Dennis Britt Fentress and his wife Terri of Paducah, KY, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Fentress, a brother, Earl Haycraft and a sister, Gladys Morrison.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (November 23, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Billy Carter and Bro. Jimmy Tucker will be officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Vernon Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 1:00 .m to 9:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
