Audrey Lewis Wortham, age 96, of Elizabethtown, KY, (formerly of Leitchfield, KY) passed away Thursday, (March 21, 2024) at her daughter's home in Elizabethtown.

She was born on November 26, 1927 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Leo and Ida Johnston Lush.

She managed the lunch counter at Sisk Drug Store and enjoyed cooking. She was a dedicated member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and the St. Joseph Altar Society.

She is survived by her daughter, Mona Asher (Tim) of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Ray "JR" Wortham; her son, James Lewis "Jamie" Wortham and 15 brothers and sisters.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, (April 13, 2024) at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Leitchfield.

Visitation will be at the St. Joseph Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
