Austin Phillip Newton, age 21, of Springfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (November 21, 2020) at his residence in Springfield, KY.

He was born on July 22, 1999 in Louisville, KY, the son of Sam and Stephanie Housley Newton.

He was a Palletizer for Barton Distillery who enjoyed fishing, listening to music, learning to play guitar and being with family.

He is survived by his parents Sam and Stephanie Housley Newton of Springfield; siblings, Kyle, Alyssa and Ryan Newton, Emily and Keith Swift, Cheyenne Roberts, Justin and Katie Myers and Lizzy Grace Chesser; grandparents, Phillip and Beverly Myers and Ina Housley; several cousins, aunts, uncles and a lot of friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Kayla Swift, grandparents, Larry Housley and Judy Coffey; and great-grandmother, Margaret Kinsey.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Dermitt Funeral Home to help with final expenses.

All services will be private according to KY mandates. Facebook live will be streaming the service on Tuesday (November 24, 2020). Burial will be in the Duke Embry –Dog Creek Cemetery.
