Barbara Jean Magolis Burgin, age 68 of Caneyville, Ky. passed away Wednesday November 02, 2011 at Bowling Green Medical Center.
She was born on June 3, 1943 in Charlestown, West Virginia, the daughter of Carlos & Ruby Igo Elkins. She was a Caregiver for several years.
She is survived by her husband Doran Burgin of Caneyville, 2 sons Frank Magolis & Adrin Doran Burgin, 3 daughters Mary Jeffers, Patty Duford & Edith Coleman, her mother Ruby Elkins, 3 brothers Danny, Ernie & Bobby, 2 sisters Eva Driggers & Becky Elkins.
Also surviving are several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 brother & 2 sisters and 1 child.
Visitation will begin at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyvlle from 10:00 a.m Monday until funeral time at 1:00 P.M. Bro. Gabe Layman will be officiating. The visitation will resume on Monday after the funeral until 8:00 p.m.
Cremation was chosen.
In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the Dermitt Funeral Home.
