Barbara Sue Embry, age 64, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (April 23, 2018) at Grayson Manor Nursing Home.

She was born on March 12, 1954 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of Owen Cook and Corda Rhea Hack.

She was a sewing machine operator and enjoyed spending time at the Pine Knob Theater.

She is survived by her brother Bradley Cook (Brenda); nieces Rheaetta Belcher (Paul), Paula Cirillo (James), Vickie Hicks (Kelly), Nellene King (Michael) and several other nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews Christina Nicholson, Bradley Hicks, Cameron Hicks, Shaun Saltsman and Olivia King; great-great niece Anders Faye Hope Nicholson; step-mother Katy Cook; and special friends Denise Price and Arlene Cain.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Leon Embry, sister, Nequetta Faye King and brother, Willard Cook.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, (April 29, 2018) at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Wayne Clemons will be officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
