Berthel Rea(Boone) Swift, age 92, of Louisville, KY, passed away Friday (May 04, 2007) at St. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville.
She was born on April 01, 1915. in Grayson Co., KY, the daughter of Elbert & Alta King Boone.
She was housewife & homemaker.
She is survived by 1 daughter Charlotte (Raymond) Brooks of Louisville, 3 sons Herbert Ray (Patsy) Swift of Leitchfield, Phillip (Faye) Swift of Irvington, Rubert Swift of Louisville, 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren & 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Obie and 3 brothers.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday (May 07, 2007) CST at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Buddy Brooks officiating with interment in the McCandless Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12 Noon to 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
