Bertie "Sonny" Dallas, age 82, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (November 25, 2016) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.

He was born on November 22, 1934, in Stewart Co. TN, the son of the late Charles Burrough and Ollie Pauline Barnes.

He was a retired service technician for Fosters Gas, who enjoyed Gaither Family Singings. He was member of the Leitchfield Fire Department, and the Leitchfield Masonic Lodge and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Jenny (Tim) Geary, one son, William "Billy" Dallas (Cindy), two granddaughters, Samantha (Julian) Lanigan and Katelyn Dallas, one grandson, Austin Dallas, two great-grandchildren, Bradley and Bekham, one sister, Sue Douthitt and one brother, Mike (Faye) Tabor, a special sister, Norma Webb and several nieces and nephews.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Jo Lowe Dallas and a son Bertie L Dallas Jr.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, (November 28, 2016) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jerry Netherland and Bro. Joe Dowell will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
