Bertie M. Vincent, age 95, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (December 7, 2023) at Grayson Manor Nursing Home in Leitchfield.

She was born on August 26, 1928 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late Enoch and Bertie Heath Whobrey.

She worked in shipping and receiving at Tell City Chair and was a member of the New Harmony United Baptist Church.

She is survived by two brothers-in law, Don Vincent of Leitchfield & Dale Vincent (Martha) of Smiths Grove, KY; and a sister-in-law, Margie Whobrey of Sadler, KY. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Carl Vincent; two brothers, Ambrose & Charles Whobrey; and three sisters, Gladys Duvall, Loraine Hodge and Elaine Clemons.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, (December 14, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Joe Brooks will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
