Bettie Cole Deason, 82, of Williamsville, MO. passed away July 4, 2016 at Poplar Bluff, MO.
She was born on January 22, 1934, to the late Earnest Mathis and Jeannette Davidson Mathis in Clay County, KY.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, MO.
She is survived by her children, Alice Cole of Poplar Bluff, MO, Tom Cole of Ft. Worth, TX, Sam Cole of Tampa, FL, Jeff Cole and wife, Stacy of Poplar Bluff, MO., and Velvet Cole of Williamsville, MO.; grandchildren, Hannah Cole-Slater and fiancée Steven Wells, Jordan Cole-Marshall, Ian Cole, Isabelle Cole-Patterson and husband, Todd, and Colton Cole; two great-grandchildren, Harrison Lee Banks, and Jacob Thomas Cole; two step-sons, Dennis Deason and wife Linda, Dan Deason and fiancée Nancy; two brothers, Donald Mathis and wife, Cadie, and Earnest Mathis, Jr. and wife Twanette; sister, Mary Linda Finn, and many step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Clarence Cole and Burton Deason, son, Stephen Cole, and sister, Jean Range.
Funeral services will be held at Ruegg Funeral Home in Williamsville, MO at 11:00 a.m. July 9, 2016.Pastor Bill Vail will be officiating.
Visitation will be Saturday July 9, 2016 at the Ruegg Funeral Home chapel from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. CST at the Summit Methodist Church Cemetery, 576 Summit Road, Eastview, KY, on July 11, 2016.
Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield, KY is in charge of the KY services.
