Betty H. Johnson, age 82, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (December 25, 2019) at Fordsville Nursing and Rehab in Fordsville, KY.

She was born on May 10, 1937 in, Owensboro, KY the daughter of the late Wilsie and Anna Lawrence Mercer Hale.

She was a lineworker for GE who enjoyed reading, dancing, gardening, jig-saw puzzles and playing the piano. She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Michael Bartlett of Leitchfield; three grandchildren, Ronni and Layla Bartlett, and Caitlyn Watson; two step-grandchildren, Dawn & Chris; two great grandchildren; two brothers, John and Wayne Hale and a sister, Pat Durbin. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Johnson; a brother, Jimmy Hale; and a sister, Marilyn Knight;

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, (January 3, 2019) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Chester Shartzer will be officiating.  Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
