Obituary
Betty Jewell Peters age 68, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (February 6, 2008) at the Grayson Manor Nursing Home.
She was born on February 14, 1939 in Muhlenberg County KY, the daughter of Robert James and Edna May Basham King.
She is survived by her mother, Edna May King of MO., four daughters, Wanda Langley, Susan Onley and Patricia Kendall of Leitchfield, and Mary Belmont of Dover, DE., one brother, James King of MO., one sister, Dorothy Harper of MO., 20 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Peters, her father, Robert, one son, James, one brother, Bobby, one grandchild and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday (February 9, 2008) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Russell Seibert and Bro. Billy Mason will be officiating. Burial will be in the Kefauver Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield after 4:00 p.m. Friday (February 7, 2008).
