Billy Joe Buster, age 74, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (March 20, 2024) at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, KY.

He was born on April 28, 1949 in Hart County, KY, the son of the late Lloyd and Connie Powell Buster.

He was a farmer who enjoyed raising his animals and working on the farm.

He is survived by his brothers, Rance, Chester and Lonzo Buster all of Clarkson; sisters, Deloris Willoughby of Valley Station, KY and Mary Haycraft of Leitchfield. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Raven and Charles Buster.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, (March 25, 2024) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in Broadford Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. on Monday until time of services.
