Billy Lee Nash, Sr., age 79, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (December 31, 2019) at his residence.

He was born on December 30, 1940 in Leitchfield, the son of the late William Thomas (Bill) and Priscilla Farris (Cilla) Nash.

He was a mechanic who enjoyed working on old cars.

He is survived by his sons, David Nash of Leitchfield, Billy Nash, Jr. (Missy) of New Albany, Indiana and Lawrence Nash of Short Creek; three sisters, Nora Hack Smiddy of Leitchfield, Hazel Hack of Shrewsbury and Myrtle Hack of Leitchfield; eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Anthony, Joshua, BooBoo, and BowBow Nash, Crissy Winchell-Russell, Melissa Jordan and Amy Nash; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Paul Edward Nash; the mother of his children, Pearl Nash Hinton; and siblings, Lillian, Pearl, Kathleen and Arthur.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, (January 4, 2019) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Chester Shartzer will be officiating. Burial will be in the Simpson Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. on Saturday until service time.
