Bobby Glenn Collins, age 83, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (October 22, 2024) at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY.

He was born on January 20, 1941 in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late Woodford Owen and Connie Parsley Collins.

He was a spotter for UPS for more than 35 years who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, golfing and spending time with family. He was a member of the Leitchfield Masonic Lodge # 231 and of the Clearview Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carolyn Hennon Collins of Leitchfield;  a daughter, Cheri Collins Givan (Tim) of Fishers, IN; a daughter-in-law, Hila Collins of Bellbrook, OH; three grandchildren, Matthew Collins (Tori), Cody Givan & Kelsey Collins; two great-grandchildren, Brooks & Zeke Collins; and a sister, Donna Woosley (Charles) of Leitchfield. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Collins, and three brothers, Kenneth, John "Johnny" & Marvin Collins.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, (November 2, 2024) at the Clearview Baptist Church in Leitchfield. Bro. Chester Shartzer will be officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery. A Masonic Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday at the Dermitt Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday at Clearview Baptist Church until time for services.
