Bobby L. Hayes' Obituary
Bobby L. Hayes, age 62, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Tuesday (February 10, 2009) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on December 27,1946, in Grayson Co., KY, the son of the late Lawrence and Carrie Simpson Hayes.
He is survived by his wife Joan, one son, Robbie and his wife Amy, one daughter, Julie Embry all of Caneyville, three sisters, Esther Elmore of Caneyville, Goldie Poole and Effie Morris both of Louisville, four grandchildren, Emily Ann and Jenna Beth Embry, Rylie Grace and Wyatt Lane Hayes. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Howard, Delbert, Hubert and Stanley, two sisters, Edna Higgs, and Kathleen Embry.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday (February 13, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Randall Deweese, will be officiating. Burial is in the Simpson Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of service.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Simpson Cemetery fund.
