Bonita Sue Stasel, age 77, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Monday, (September 14, 2026) at Signature Health and Rehab in Elizabethtown, KY.

She was born on July 30, 1949 in Millerstown, KY, the daughter of the late Austin and Marie Sullivan Stasel.

She was a factory worker who enjoyed caring for and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Lone Oak Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sister, Linda Joyce (W.D.) of Clarkson, KY; four nieces, Marcy Hill (Steve), Teresa Mahurin (Steve), Sharon Drake (Chris), Christy Gibson; and one nephew, David Joyce (Karen). Several great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Damon Stasel and an infant sister Gloria Dean Stasel.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, (September 23, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Adam Jenkins will be officiating. Burial will be in the Little Flock Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
