Bonnie D. Shain, age 70 , of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (June 1, 2022) at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY.

She was born on October 15, 1951 in Warren County, KY, the daughter of the late John and Reba Craft Dodson.

She worked as a bus monitor for the Grayson County School System. She enjoyed riding horses and taking wagon rides. She was a member of Falls of Rough Baptist Church and attended Centerview Community Church.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Arzie Shain,  six brothers, Malcolm (Linda), Charles (Kathy), John (Wanda), David (Vickie), James (Patricia) and Sam (Teresa) Dodson; three sisters, Diane and Betty Dodson and Omie Nethery (Jim). Several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Willie Dodson.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, (June 5, 2022) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Murrell Meredith will be officiating. Burial will be in the Hanging Rock Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
