Obituary
Boyd S. Thompson, age 60, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Monday, (July 27, 2009) at his home.
He was born on January 15, 1949, in Hart County KY, the son of Orley and Geneva Reams Thompson. He was a Vietnam veteran and a concrete finisher and a member of the Mulberry Flats United Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanean Priddy Thompson of Clarkson, his son, David Thompson (Tera) of Leitchfield, a step-daughter, Vanessa Coomes (Stephen) of Falls of Rough, KY, his grandson, Tanner Thompson, his step-grandchildren, Brent and Colton Coomes and Chase Williams and his sisters, Marilyn Manion (Harold) of Clarkson and Debbie Hensel (Jim) of Leitchfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orley and Geneva Thompson.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon Wednesday (July 29, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
