Brandon “Skippy” Haycraft, age 46, of Mt. Sherman, KY, passed away Tuesday, (January 27, 2026) at his daughter’s home in Leitchfield, KY.

He was born on November 24, 1979 in Grayson County, KY, the son of the Kenny Haycraft and the late Patricia “Trish” Blankenship Haycraft.

He was the proud owner of Build Cool Stuff, and enjoyed working, fishing, camping, snowboarding, traveling and being a “Pop-Pop” to Hendrix. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his children; Savanna Haycraft (Avion Cavitt) of Leitchfield, and Keaton Haycraft (Alison Masden) also of Leitchfield; one grandchild, Hendrix; one sister, Jordan Wooden; his father, Kenny Haycraft (Lisa); one nephew, Zakrey Wooden; two nieces, Haylee and Shelby Wooden, and three great nieces and nephews also survive.  Also surviving is the mother of his children. Stephine Cox.

Other than his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, (February 10, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Kyle Blankenship will be officiating. In keeping with his wishes cremation will follow.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
