Brenda Kay Carby Stinson, of Clarkson, Kentucky, passed away on November 17, 2025. She was 70 years old.

She was born on March 23, 1955, in Leitchfield, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Annie Louise Campbell Carby and the late William Eugene "Gene" Carby.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 53 years, Charlie, and her children, Laura Leigh and Gary Andrew. She is also survived by her special son, Robert Stegen.

She is further survived by her sisters, Wanda Alvey and Judy (Donnie) Gore, and her brother, Billy (Doris) Carby, as well as several nieces and nephews. Her family and friends were the light of her life.

Brenda was Catholic and a faithful, loved member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.

Visitation will be held at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield, Kentucky, on Wednesday, November 19, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Central Time), with prayer services at 5:00 p.m.

Visitation will continue on Thursday, November 20, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Clarkson, Kentucky, beginning at 9:00 a.m., with the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
