Obituary
Brian Kenneth Stanton, age 50, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (November 22, 2015) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.
He was born on August 14, 1965 in Louisville, KY, the son of his late father, Larry Kenneth Stanton and his mother, Janice Skaggs Stanton Johnson.
He was disabled, but had been an avid skier. He loved sports, especially playing baseball, and shooting pool. He was a member of the Sulphur Wells Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Janice Stanton Johnson of Caneyville; sister, Laura Stanton Carroll, and her husband, Stuart, of Leitchfield; and his niece, Carleigh Carroll.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Kenneth Stanton, grandparents, Lester and Bernice Skaggs, and Lawrence and Eula Stanton.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, (November 25, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Rock Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm. Tuesday, and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
