Brodie Daniel Embry, age 12, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Sunday, (May 26, 2019) at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.

He was born on October 18, 2006 in Leitchfield, KY, the son of the late Jason Embry and Stephanie Kiper Jennings.

He was a Seventh Grader at the Grayson County Middle School who enjoyed football, farming, trading and making money. He was a member of the Grayson County Middle School Beta Club.

He is survived by his mother, Stephanie Jennings and his step-father, Norman Jennings of Caneyville, five sisters, Sara Jennings, Kaylee Embry, Maggie Jennings, Allie Jennings, and Emma Jennings, his grandparents, Emanuel Embry of Butler Co., KY, Linda Embry of Clarkson, KY, Edward Kiper and Clifton Escue both of Falls of Rough, KY; and a step-grandmother, Zelma Sue Jennings of Caneyville, KY.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jason Embry.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, (May 30, 2019) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jeff Maysey will be officiating. Burial will be in the Duff Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
