Brovan J. Lee, age 66, Hopkinsville, KY, formerly of Caneyville, departed this life on Thursday, (January 22, 2009) at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY.

He was born on September 20,1942 in Caneyville, son of the late Walter Raleigh Lee formerly of Caneyville, and Eunice Lee (Cummings) Bozarth of Louisville, formerly of Caneyville. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Caneyville.

He is survived by two brothers, Ralph Lee of Caneyville, and Bradley Lee of Louisville, KY, seven sisters, Grace Lee Valentine, of Marysville, KS, Brenda Aubrey Meador of Louisville, Bonnie Aubrey Baumgardner of Louisville, Mae Lee Pitcock of Mount Hermon KY, Hallie Bee Lee Ashbaugh of Clarksville, TN, Bayreia Faye Lee Goodman of Louisville, and Beverly Lee Gumm of Louisville, and he was also blessed with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.m. Sunday (January 25, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville, with Rev. Ronnie Pitcock officiating. Music and songs will be performed by Nickie Morrison, Clarksville, TN.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Pitcock of Mount Hermon, KY, David Roller of Louisville, KY, Bobby Morrison of Columbia, Missouri, Wendall Woosley of Louisville, Eddie Majors of Leitchfield, and Bobby Jackson of Louisville.

Burial will be in Caney Creek Cemetery in Caneyville. Dermitt Funeral Home Caneyville, is in charge of arrangements.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday and from 10:00 a.m. Sunday until time of service.
